Pelican Pete's was invited to attend the MN Cup EAT conference in Minneapolis on Thursday, February 4th. The invitation only networking and business event will include over 60 entrepreneurial food, agriculture and beverage companies from across Minnesota. It is sponsored by the U of M Carlson School of Business and the MN Cup. Pelican Pete’s Pistachios will not only sell their locally produced nuts, but will be able to attend best practice seminars and network with other food businesses. Other guests at EAT will be marketing and consulting firms that specialize in the sourcing, promoting and growing entrepreneurial businesses.
MN Cup is the premier resource for Minnesota entrepreneurs. They support emerging entrepreneurs from across the state through events, educational programming and an annual new venture competition that provides them with tools, resources and support to launch and accelerate the development of their new ventures. Pelican Pete’s Pistachios was a 2015 food category competitor, one of the only from northwest Minnesota.
Entering its twelfth year, the MN Cup is now the largest statewide new venture competition in the country. More than 10,000 participants have entered the competition. Participants have gone on to successfully launch their businesses, raise capital and create jobs in Minnesota. Finalists since 2005 have raised over $180 million to spur innovation and job creation in our state.
